VMI offers several models of horizontal dredges to fit your dredging needs.
VMI's horizontal dredges are the choice when it comes to lake,
marina, or lagoon cleaning. These machines feature a recessed
impeller pump as standard along with VMI's patented full width,
flow through suction cutter head. Optional dredging depths and
equipment can be accommodated upon request.

MD-415 is the smallest of the VMI horizontal dredge
line. The dredge is sized for dredging jobs where lower
pipeline flow may be desired and a smaller volume of
material is to be removed within a desired time frame.

MD-615 is the machine of choice for most horizontal
dredging applications. The dredge provides plenty of
dredging power and performance while coming in
nicely sized package.

MD-850 provides the same dredging power and
performance as the MD-815 with a 50ft (15m) digging
depth capability and self-propulsion.

MD-815 is the performer in the line of VMI horizontal
dredges. The MD-815 provides the dredging power
required to handle larger dredging operations. A
standard recessed impeller pump or optional closed
vane impeller pump is available.

Each model other than the MD-850 is transportable on one truck.
In many applications, both the dredge and pipe can be shipped as
